We visited Haiti music school from May 17th to 22nd.
During this visit, we brought 6 violins, 2 violas, clarinets that were donated from ICA and other sponsors, flute from Suyeon Kim, music stand from Sujin Kim and Sangyoon Kim, French horn, recorders, and music sheets for violin class that has been temporally stopped for a year because of pandemic and war between gangs in Haiti.
Also, Minjun Lee from Kansas and Juone Park from Dallas joined the trip.
We met with music teachers and visited each orphanage to give supplies and check the performance level and class process. 4 students from Nicholas orphanage got clarinet, and 2 students from Upper Room orphanage got new French horn and started music lesson. We also hired one more recorder teacher, so there are now two orphanages that teach recorder class.
